Different Openings

The Godfather:

















The Godfather is a famous worldwide movie, known all around the world. The opening of it is also very famous and the godfathers very husky weak voice. The opening is very slow and shows the godfather talking to an old friend about trying to kill someone. So in thsi first scene we see how powerful the godfather is. It is a slow opening with not much action at all but it also sets out the rest of the movie.


Blade:

Blade is another famous film which is about, Wesley Snipes plays as "Blade", a human vampire hybrid, who protects humans against vampires. Blade grossed $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $131.2 million worldwide. The opening is very actioned packed and clear, it is very entertaining to watch.

Saving Private Ryan:

 

Saving Private Ryan is a 1998 American war film set during the invasion of Normady in World War 2. It was directed by Steven Spielberg. The film is notable for the intensity of its opening 27 minutes, which show the Omaha beachhead assault of June 6, 1944. The opening is very graphic as it shows people been shot and killed and alot of scenes of blood and there is also a bit where a soldier is trying to hold his intestines inside him. I personally think this is good because it really depics the reality of war and how terrible it can be.
